Did You Know?We have developed a substrate especially designed for biological water purification. is accepted excellently by microorganisms thus providing optimal water purification. Our innovative production process makes it possible to significantly enlarge the surface area and therefore to optimize the growth phase (in contrast to classic expanded clay). Cost and energy savings.classic expanded clay).Benefits:Aquaclay® F4-10 shows minor abrasion characteristics, even through high exposure during backwashing periods. The nitrification performance is excellent (under optimal conditions up to 6.4 kg N-NH4 per m per day). With a bulk density of 1150 3 kg/m and in contrast to other filter media, energy savings are possible through backwashing in the submerged biofilm reactor. Use: Community waste-water treatment, dye works, laundry, biological purification of highly polluted industrial waster-water. Aquaclay®
F13-20
has been designed
for use in trickle filters. With a specific density of 350 kg/m3
Aquaclay® Ground is very suitable for the elimination of the remaining C and of filterable substances. With a grain size of 1- 4 mm Aquaclay® Ground is the smallest standard product and with a bulk density of 800 kg/m also the heaviest filter material. Use: fine filter municipal waste-water treatment, substitute for sand. A further PLUS Individual production of larger and smaller grain size fractions is possible (depending on the bulk density and the production size). Upon request it can also be available in broken fractions. You can benefit from our expertise and experience of many years in production and sales for your system. Do you have special requirements? | Aquaclay F 4-10 generated a continuous extraction performance until the filter saturation point. Before the filter saturation point more than 90% of all solids were removed, the discharge values measured at the end were on average 40 mg/l of solids. Through a continuous measurement of the flow rate upcoming backwashing is easy to identify and to schedule. Aquaclay F 4-10 is very suitable for the extraction of solids in fixed-bed systems. |
